This recipe yields a single serving of green smoothie. You can double the ingredients to double the serving.
Ingredients
1 cup fresh or frozen fruit (banana, apple, or mixed berries)
1 cup fresh greens (spinach, kale, or lettuce)
1/2-1 cup milk (almond, coconut, soy or cow’s milk)
1/2 tbsp ground seeds (flax, chia or pumpkin seeds)
Method
Place all the ingredients, except the milk, into a high speed blender.
Add half the quantity of milk to begin with.
Blend on high until smooth. Gradually add in the milk as you blend, to get the consistency you like.
Serve immediately.
